Vetting
Every engineer is screened by a person. Twice.
A profile review, then a live call. The same scorecard for everyone, so a shortlist means the same thing every time.
Profile review
A screener with a senior engineering background reviews the profile, work history and skills against a fixed scorecard. Most decisions take minutes; nobody is rejected without a written reason.
Live call · 15–20 min
English and communication are assessed live, and two or three key skills are verified in conversation. Rate and availability are confirmed. Skills checked on the call get a Verified mark.
Decision
Approve or reject, with the reason shared verbatim. Engineers below B2 English are not approved for client-facing roles, whatever their technical score.
On the bench
Approved engineers see roles that match their skills and apply. We shortlist from the applicants for each role; clients see the score band, never the raw score.
What the scorecard covers
- Technical depth in the main stack, and breadth across the rest
- Quality of recent work: scope, ownership and results
- English: assessed level on the CEFR scale (A2–C2), from the call
- Communication: clarity, asking the right questions, remote-work habits
